For 9.5:1 EFI/TPI applications running without an intercooler, boost levels above 5 psi will require the use of ignition/timing retard on pump gas, and will produce horsepower gains of 35-45%. Boost levels above 12 psi should generally be avoided even with racing fuel on a 9.5:1 motor.
I have a 2008 Super duty with the 6.4 diesel. I have about 80,000 miles on it. It just started having problems with the brakes and steering. When going about 55 mph then start to slow down, I apply the brakes and then the brakes thump and I lose brakes and steering. Has anyone had this problem.
